- The role of Business Analyst is part of the Standard Chartered HR Transformation team and will report into a Lead, Digital Design and Enablement role. This role covers all aspects of business process and digital design from business requirements gathering to solution design, delivery and supporting change and enablement of digital solutions. The role will also support driving of innovation and new (agile) ways of working at the bank.
- A successful candidate is an experienced business analyst with a proven track-record in delivering complex digital HR transformation projects in large organisations with agile methodology. Subject matter expertise in HR functional process, solution design, and a working knowledge of technology, other functional processes and change management is essential. Experience with ServiceNow and other case management digital solutions would be an advantage.

- Support planning, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of product backlogs/Project , to achieve anticipated benefits using Agile methodology
- Explore & Recommend areas of opportunity for process improvements and digital enhancement on projects – eliciting requirements & pain points from stakeholders, facilitating workshops & retrospectives, and implementing improvements & change initiatives
- Collaborate with the Service Delivery Design team, Technology Architects, and other Programme team members to implement metrics and performance goals related to digital solution delivery
- Map out complex business processes & employee journeys, develop & socialise relevant benchmarks and co-create creative solutions to optimise and automate processes
- Facilitate customer requirements gathering and subsequent development of user cases and user stories
- Facilitate transitioning the user stories and use cases to technology developers and ensure a clear and complete understanding of business requirements.
- Support translating of user stories and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing
- Support change management and enablement activities to drive adoption of digital solutions
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks, including managing conflicting priorities and time pressure
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with multi-functional, multi-cultural, multi-product teams to achieve superior results
- Strong communication and presentation skills to communicate complex subjects and influence stakeholders to achieve objectives
- Strong writing skills that emphasize storytelling, with the ability to use various tools and techniques to craft effective documentation and presentations
- Ensure HR Services deliver effective management of operational risks in compliance with applicable internal policies, external laws and regulations at a global level
- Act to minimise operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising, identify and manage forward looking risks
- Embed the Group’s values and code of conduct across the team and larger function
- Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to the job holder’s attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the appropriate Risk Committees

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Programme Manager, Product Owner, Global People Services (GPS), Vendors, Enterprise Technology squad, HR Digital Service and Experience team, Core HR Transformation team, Functional teams
- HR COO team, CoE leads, Country HR Service Delivery, Heads of HR, HRBPs, Country Subject Matter
- Change and Enablement teams, Internal communications team, Corporate Communications team
- Key Functional Partners: Innovation Technology Office (ITO), Finance, Property, Compliance, Legal and Risk
- Support on all key activities required to implement the Digital Design and Enablement strategy, approach, and plan
- Coordinate key project initiatives and facilitate cross functional collaboration
- Support initiatives to drive innovation and new ways of working within the HR transformation portfolio including
- Support design and enablement leads in building a foundation on Agile and Digital with a focus on new ways of designing, enabling, and delivering solutions across initiatives
- Contribute to identifying latest developments in technology innovative and solution design to be considered for digital implementation and provide recommendations to senior management
- Supporting analysis, building of tools, templates and other enablers to drive innovation in the portfolio
- Support upskilling, reskilling and experimentation efforts to drive the bank’s future ready transformation digital design capability

- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital transformation delivering projects related to business process and digital design

- Passionate about digital innovation and human centred design
- Experience in business transformation with a working knowledge of change management
- Subject matter expertise in HR functional processes
- Working knowledge of other functional areas (IT, Finance, Property, Legal and compliance)
- Experience working with ServiceNow and other HR Information systems
- Agile certification, equivalent or professional experience in agile projects
