Role description
- Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for mainframe applications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure they are covered in testing.
- Identify, document, and track testing activities and results, ensuring all processes are aligned with organizational standards.
Manual & Automated Testing:
- Perform manual testing on mainframe applications using various tools and platforms, including z/OS, COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts (where applicable) to ensure efficient regression and functional testing.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) as required.
