Linux Cloud Engineer

Overview

Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, Rocky Linux, Almalinux).
• Perform user management, file system management, and disk partitioning.
• Troubleshoot server issues, system crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement security best practices, including firewall configuration, Iptables or UFW.
• Configure and monitor system logs using tools like rsyslog, journalctl, and logrotate.
• Automate routine tasks using Bash scripting.
• Setup and configure web servers (Apache, Nginx).
• Troubleshoot networking issues, including DNS, DHCP, routing, and firewall settings.
• Monitor system performance using tools like Nagios, Grafana, etc.

• Work with containerization technologies (Docker).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, DNS, VPN, etc.).
• Experience with system monitoring and log analysis.
• RHCSA/RHCE certification is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills (Plus but Not Mandatory):

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of automation tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
