Technical Responsibilities:

Architect and Design: Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance web applications and ensure alignment with business goals.

Develop and Maintain: Oversee the development and maintenance of complex applications, ensuring quality and scalability.

Full Stack Development: Guide and participate in both front-end and back-end development, utilizing frameworks like React, Node.js, and FastAPI.

Database Management: Manage complex data models, ensuring data consistency, optimization, and performance with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Cloud Strategy: Lead the deployment, scaling, and maintenance of cloud-native applications using AWS services.

Code Quality and Standards: Establish coding best practices, perform regular code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality standards.

API Development: Lead the design and integration of RESTful APIs to ensure seamless front-end and back-end communication.

Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot, and optimize applications to ensure efficiency and scalability.

DevOps Enablement: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to improve development, testing, and deployment efficiency

Security Leadership: Champion the adoption of robust security practices, ensuring applications meet security standards and are resilient to vulnerabilities.

Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of architectural decisions, workflows, and processes for future reference.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA, to align technical execution with business objectives.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technical strategies, roadmaps, and progress updates effectively to stakeholders and management.

Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and encouraging their adoption across teams.

Problem Solving: Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in Full Stack Development.

Technical Skills:

Programming Languages: Expertise in JavaScript (Node.js) and Python.

Front-End Frameworks: Advanced knowledge of React.

Back-End Frameworks: Extensive experience with Express.js and knowledge of FastAPI.

Databases: Proficient in PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design and optimization.

Cloud Platforms: In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.

API Development: Deep understanding of RESTful API development, integration, and best practices.

DevOps: Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Caching Technologies: Experience with Redis for performance optimization.

Server Management: Proficiency with Nginx and Linux-based systems.

Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile development processes, including SCRUM.

Version Control: Expertise with Git and branching strategies.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless technologies.

Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and data engineering tools.

Hands-on experience with advanced CI/CD setups and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
