Senior Software Engineer - SDET - Tietoevry Care (m/f/d)

About the role
Responsible for developing a part of the system, including designing it to fit into the architecture, possibly prototyping the user-interface, and then implementing, building, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution. Maintenance of existing SW components will be also part of the role.
In this role you will
- Building and maintaining products as part of the Agile development team & working in collaboration with the global team.
- Communicating any risks or bottlenecks in the delivery to stakeholders.
- Reviewing and verifying functional and system requirements and ensuring that the project deliverable adheres to QA criteria and complies with the requirements before deployment.
- Manage test data efficiently.
- Write and maintain test scripts for automation and performance testing.
- Estimation of testing activities.
- Proactively identify/raise bugs.
- Suggesting new ideas/improvements as and when feasible.
- Mentor and train team members in automation and best QA practices.
- Contribute to the Automation Testing Roadmap and overall test strategy.
We are looking for someone with
- Strong expertise in Automation Testing and QA processes.
- 5-9 years of strong hands-on experience in Test Automation using at least more than one of the following tools.
- Selenium web driver using C#.
- Ranorex using C#
- Performance testing using Jmeter.
- Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases from functional requirements.
- Database knowledge, particularly SQL Server, for validating test data.
- Database knowledge, particularly SQL Server, for validating test data.
- Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) for testing applications in containerized environments.
- Exposure to Playwright for additional automation capabilities.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with an eye for detail
