We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing cloud-native solutions, with a primary focus on AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, be adept at debugging complex systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Experience with GitHub Actions is preferred, and familiarity with other CI/CD tools (Jenkins,BitBucket) and programming languages (Java, Node.js) is a plus.

What You Will Do Here

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on AWS Cloud.
• Establish and refine DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters to deploy and run critical applications, ensuring high availability and cost optimization.
• Optimize Kubernetes deployments, configurations, and container orchestration processes.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (preferred) or other tools (Jenkins, BitBucket).
• Automate build, test, and release processes for multiple applications and microservices.
• Leverage Infrastructure as Code tools (AWS CloudFormation) to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Promote best practices, code reviews, and a consistent approach to IaC across the team.
• Implement and maintain best practices for securing AWS accounts, Kubernetes clusters, and sensitive data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Set up comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using cloud-native or third-party tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Develop proactive alerting strategies to ensure issues are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, Product) to deliver solutions that are stable, scalable, and secure.
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, providing technical direction and leadership.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production, staging, and development environments.
• Continuously identify areas of improvement and develop solutions to enhance reliability, performance, and efficiency.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Ideally 6 to 8 years of experience with a proven track record in designing, deploying, and managing AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes setup, management, and best practices.
• Strong working knowledge of setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions & CI/CD tools like Jenkins, BitBucket.
• Excellent analytical skills with an aptitude for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with Jenkins, BitBucket.
• Exposure to Java, Maven, and Node.js build and deployment processes.
• Understanding of managing repositories, branching, and version control best practices.
• Knowledge of security best practices, DevSecOps principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to mentor and coach team members, driving best practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Skill in managing multiple projects and tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
