What would you be doing?

We are looking forward to hiring an experienced QA Lead Engineer with a background in managing QA Engineers, communicating with stake holders, as well as knowledge and experience in Python, Web services and API. Good knowledge on Database concept and working experience in SQL queries. Experience in Big Data environments and ETL testing preferably.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy for a fast-moving Innovation Team, including processes, tools, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Product Owner, and development team to identify and define project requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, system, load/performance, and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on software defects, test execution results, and overall project progress to stakeholders.
• Manage and prioritize bug reports and feature requests, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
• Manage and Train QA Engineers
• Drive root cause analysis and risk mitigation for any critical defects, escalating as necessary to senior management.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Foster a culture of quality and accountability within the team, providing mentorship, guidance, and training as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Proven experience managing QA activities in a web application development environment.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and experience working in an Agile team.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), web application development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) is a plus.
