Overview
Job Location: Ahmedabad
Job Type: Full Time
Experience: 8-14 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a fast-paced team to perform object-oriented application development using java as the foundation
- Involve in the complete software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance in Agile methodology
- Analyze functional requirements and troubleshoot application code issues utilizing java IDE and other software tools and technologies
- Work closely with other developers and quality assurance engineers to create fixes and enhancements to web applications
- Performs development tasks to upgrade and maintain existing applications
- Deliver high-quality software that will delight and astound our customers
- Communicate technical and non-technical information clearly, answer technical questions from customers, and be able to provide efficient solutions to problems
- Develop patterns and code examples for the team to consume
- Implements solutions as designed in technical documentation specification and coding standards
- Knows the business rules and concepts, software specifications and designs provided by the technical lead and apply them in completing the assigned task
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience programming in SQL, Java, and JavaScript
- Web Application and Relational Database (SQL Server, Oracle)
- Experience in functional understanding of database structure
- Experience with relational databases and SQL for implementing database-driven, web-based applications
- Understanding of J2EE Architecture and deployment procedures
- Proficiency in Java Programming Language (Oracle Java Certified is preferred)
- Experience in the Spring Framework
- Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, JQuery)
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and tools quickly
- Analytical Skills (ability to digest requirements and produce design)
- Ability for Testing/Quality Control
- Prior experience with workflow or data transaction solutions is preferred
- Experience with common technologies such as git, svn, Wildfly and Docker is preferred
- Experience with JSP, JSF, Struts is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
