Lead IT Business Analyst - Semiconductor Pricing and Quoting CRM Solutions

We are looking for a skilled IT Business Analyst with a focus on pricing and quoting solutions within Semiconductor industry. The ideal candidate will have experience analysing and implementing IT applications that support dynamic pricing, quoting, and margin management processes and also managing data and system integrations with several other applications in addition experience in leading a team. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that business needs are translated into effective, scalable technology solutions.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

• Pricing and Quoting Analyst : Analyse current pricing and quoting workflows, identify areas for improvement, and recommend IT solutions that streamline the pricing and quoting processes.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders across Business process and IT landscape to gather business requirements for pricing and quoting systems and translate them into requirements towards IT. Set best practices for requirement assessment and IT solution evaluation.
• Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement pricing and quoting applications that align with business goals and industry best practices, ensuring data accuracy, speed, and flexibility. Set best practices for solution design and collaboration within different IT teams for implementation.
• System support and Maintenance: Provide support for existing pricing and quoting applications, addressing any system issues, implementing upgrade
• Data analysis and Reporting: Support pricing and quoting decisions by developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data analytics to provide insight into pricing trends, margins, and quote win/loss metrices.
• Testing and Automation: Develop and enable test plans to validate that pricing and quoting solutions meet business requirements and maintain high standards of quality and reliability. Enable test automation to reduce manual overhead for repetitive testing
• Quality Assurance: Setup best practices for quality assurance for IT solutions, test management as well as operational tasks
• Documentation and Training: Document system configurations, processes, and training materials, and provide training to end-users to ensure effective utilization of pricing and quoting solutions
  

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus
• Minimum of 7-10 years as an IT Business Analyst, with specific experience in pricing and quoting applications for the semiconductor or high-tech industry
• Proficiency with pricing and quoting software and ERP systems commonly used in the semiconductor industry
• Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., MSD, SAP CRM, ModelN) and their integration with pricing/quoting applications. Additional experience with applications such as Salesforce, Vendavo, PriceFx is a plus
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and an understanding of margin analysis and revenue forecasting
• Knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools is a strong plus
• In-depth understanding of semiconductor pricing and quoting, including volume discounting, margin analysis, competitive pricing, and global pricing variations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
• Strong organizational skills and project management experience, preferably with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
• Sufficient experience in leading and mentoring a team
• Experience with digital transformation initiatives focused on pricing and quoting
Knowledge of best practices for optimizing pricing and quoting processes in a high-tech manufacturing environment
