Lead II - Software Engineer (C#, .NET, Azure Functions)

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C#, .NET, and Azure Functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with a focus on designing scalable applications using modern design patterns, as well as front-end development skills using React and Redux.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using C# and the .NET framework.
• Develop backend solutions using serverless architecture with Azure Functions.
• Apply design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure maintainable and reusable code.
• Utilize Entity Framework Core for data access and manage SQL Server databases effectively.
• Collaborate with the team to design database schemas and optimize data storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React and Redux, ensuring smooth integration with backend services.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using appropriate testing libraries (Microsoft unit test framework, Playwright, Jest, React testing library).
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development practices.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with C#, .NET framework (including .NET 8), and Azure Functions.
• Proficient in backend development using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Experience with frontend development using React and Redux.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture and cloud-based solutions (preferably Azure).
• Solid understanding of design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Microsoft unit test framework, Jest, React testing library).
• Excellent collaboration skills and experience working in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Auto Mapper and Fluent Validation for backend development.
• Familiarity with Material UI for frontend development.
• Prior experience working with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
