Lead I - Software Engineering (Senior React Developer)

• Position Title: Senior React Developer
  Hiring Location: Pune
  Experience Range: 5 to 7 years

  Must-Have Skills:

  • React.js (including React Hooks, Redux or Context API)
  • JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
  • Material UI and Tailwind CSS
  • Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier
  • REST APIs integration & authentication (OAuth, JWT)
  • CI/CD and Git workflows
  • Performance optimization and debugging expertise

  Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Next.js (server-side rendering)
  • Familiarity with Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Unit and integration testing (Jest, Mocha, or similar)
  • Experience with Git and version control best practices

  Experience:

  • 5 to 6 years of experience in developing and delivering React.js-based applications.
  • Proven track record of building user-centric, scalable software applications.

  Position Purpose:

  The Senior React Developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing React-based front-end applications. You will play a key role in migrating UI components to React from legacy frameworks, implementing reusable UI components, and integrating with REST APIs. The role involves working in collaboration with design, product, and back-end teams to build high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

  Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Develop and optimize React.js frontend applications.
  • Migrate existing UI components from legacy frameworks to React.js.
  • Implement reusable UI components based on design system guidelines.
  • Integrate front-end with backend APIs.
  • Ensure performance, accessibility, and security best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and write unit and integration tests.
  • Maintain documentation and contribute to frontend best practices.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Mentor and guide junior developers.

  Qualifications:

  Education/Certification:

  • MS/BE in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

  Required Knowledge:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js, Redux or Context API, and React Hooks.
  • Experience with Material UI, Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with Webpack, Babel, ESLint, Prettier, and modern build tools.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
