Lead I - Software Engineering- Java Developer

Job Description: Java Developer (5+ Years of Experience)

Hiring Location: Prefferred Pune(All UST Locations)

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development and passionate programming with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of data structures (stack, queue, bubble sort, etc.).
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable software applications.
• Implement and maintain microservices-based architecture with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability of features.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes, and implementing timely solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.
• Contribute to the documentation of code and testing results.
• Work with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) to deploy and scale applications.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficient in data structure concepts like stack, queue, and sorting algorithms (e.g., bubble sort).
• Strong experience with Junit and automated unit testing.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and patterns.
• Proven experience in backend development and working with RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL, with knowledge of database systems and writing efficient queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Analytical skills, with a curious mindset and the willingness to learn.
• Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
