Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop new features for a reporting web application built with Python and React.
- Participate in the data ingestion processes using Python and SQL.
- Work closely with the analyst, test and support teams to understand and deliver the requirement
- Support the full project lifecycle through to implementation and production support Mandatory
- Proven experience as a Python Web Developer, with a focus on data.
- Strong proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Experience with any modern front-end technology frameworks(React, Angular, Vue).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with Docker.
- Ability to write SQL queries to interrogate and extract data from a SQL database
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Good all round technical knowledge to help find the best solution to a requirement
- Able to engage with stakeholders in both Business and Technology Desirable
- Familiar with React.
- Familiar with MATLAB.
- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts and algorithms
- Airflow orchestration
- Multi-disciplined and able to provide support throughout SDLC
- Capable of balancing timely delivery against strategic development
