Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer who is proficient in Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud technologies. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing backend services and systems to support our enterprise-level applications. You will be working in an agile environment and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Backend Development: Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
- Microservices Architecture: Build and maintain microservices-based applications, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and meet business needs.
- API Development: Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems and other services.
- Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy, monitor, and scale applications, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Database Management: Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and integration using relational and NoSQL databases.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
- Collaboration & Agile Practices: Collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and QA engineers in an Agile development environment.
- Code Quality & Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices in software development.
- Troubleshooting & Debugging: Proactively identify issues and apply fixes, ensuring smooth operation of the application in production.
- Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8 or later), including multithreading, collections, and concurrency.
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
- Hands-on experience with Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
- Proficient in developing Microservices architectures.
- Expertise in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
- Ability to work in an Agile environment with iterative development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
