Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Stakeholder Collaboration: – Work closely with key stakeholders to document business goals and objectives for new projects.
- Requirements Documentation: – Prepare detailed requirement specifications in the form of user stories or functional requirement documents for development teams.
- Agile Participation: – Act as a proxy for the process owner in the agile software development process by facilitating progress, answering questions, and providing detailed requirements.
- Project Communication: – Collaborate with development teams to produce project documentation such as status updates, roadmaps, and release plans.
- QA & Testing Support: – Work with QA Analysts to develop test cases, scenarios, and detailed acceptance criteria. – Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and training plans with the user community, including assisting with end-user training.
- Solution Design & Management: – Design, develop, and manage business intelligence solutions that support decision-making.
- Data & Reporting: – Work with data warehouses, ETL processes, and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to extract, analyze, and present business data. – Utilize SQL and data modeling techniques to support analytics and reporting systems.
- Client & Team Engagement: – Attend offshore, onsite, and client meetings as required.
- Core Values: – Practice and exhibit UST’s core values: humility, humanity, and integrity.
- Flexible Working Hours: – Work during overlap hours (typically from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM local time) and night shifts based on project needs and deadlines.
- Experience: – Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst/Technical Business Analyst.
- SQL Proficiency: – Strong SQL skills for report UAT and report creation, including the ability to analyze reports and identify trends.
- Agile Environment: – Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Communication: – Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders, development teams, and QA.
- Healthcare Domain: – Understanding of healthcare data, source systems, and integration with various downstream systems; a healthcare background is preferred.
- BI Tools & Technical Analysis: – Familiarity with BI tools like Tableau and Power BI, and experience in technical analysis.
- Data Migration: – Experience with data migration projects.
- Additional Software Skills: – Proficiency in using additional Microsoft desktop applications for documentation and analysis.
- Working Hours & Flexibility: – This role requires working during overlap hours (2:00 PM to 11:00 PM local time) and night shifts based on project needs, ensuring alignment with onshore team schedules.
- Team & Client Collaboration: – The candidate should be proactive in documenting business requirements, supporting project delivery, and communicating effectively across teams.
