Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of advanced machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Design and conduct experiments (A/B testing, multivariate testing) to validate hypotheses and optimize performance.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and workflows for large-scale data processing.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest research, tools, and technologies in data science and machine learning.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security in all analytical processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, and strong experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, SciPy).
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of SQL and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and streaming technologies.
- Background in deep learning, natural language processing, or computer vision.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
