About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team, focusing on Pricing & Promotion Analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.

Machine Learning
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team, focusing on Pricing & Promotion Analytics. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced analytical models to optimize pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
You will leverage your expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization to drive data-driven decisions and improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy Optimization :
- Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine learning models to optimize pricing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities.
- Design and execute A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate pricing effectiveness.
- Develop dynamic pricing algorithms and models.
- Design and analyze promotional campaigns to measure their impact on sales and customer engagement.
- Develop predictive models to forecast the effectiveness of promotional offers.
- Segment customers based on their response to promotions and tailor offers accordingly.
- Optimize promotional spend and ROI through data-driven insights.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Create compelling data visualizations and reports to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to drive data-driven decision making.
- Develop and maintain scalable machine learning models using Python and relevant libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deploy and monitor models in production environments.
- Ensure data quality and integrity for model training and evaluation.
- Lead and mentor junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and support.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data science projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science.
Programming Languages : Expert proficiency in Python and SQL.
Machine Learning
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, time series analysis).
- Experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and XGBoost.
- Experience with model evaluation and validation techniques.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with time series analysis and forecasting.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and libraries (i.e., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services (i.e., SageMaker, Databricks).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments.
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.
- 3-6 years of experience in data science, with a focus on pricing and promotion analytics.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in a business setting.
- Strong understanding of pricing and promotion strategies.
- Experience in analyzing large datasets and extracting actionable insights.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate technical insights into business value.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Master's degree or Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
