Requirement Gathering and Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements using various techniques such as interviews, workshops, surveys, etc.
- Analyze and validate requirements to ensure clarity, completeness, and alignment with business goals.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Recommend process improvements and design efficient workflows to optimize business operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes and monitor the effectiveness of solutions.
- Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Document business processes, use cases, and system requirements.
- Prepare clear and detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and user stories for development teams.
- Support project teams throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and implementation.
- Participate in the development of project plans and schedules.
- Coordinate between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions.
- Analyze data to provide insights into business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop reports and dashboards to communicate key metrics and business outcomes to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in reports, and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Develop test plans and scenarios based on business requirements.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, and technical teams.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to ensure stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide training and support to users to ensure smooth adoption of new solutions or processes.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in business analysis and process management.
- Suggest and implement improvements to business analysis methodologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in business analysis or a related role.
- Strong understanding of business operations, processes, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating user stories, and working with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process mapping, SWOT analysis, etc.).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and business analysis tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems.
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) is a plus.
