Founded in 2011, the decade-long journey of ClearTax defines growth. Starting with just 3 tech products related to tax and filing, we now build mobile and web-based SaaS products for invoices, taxes, payments, and credit and augment them with strong advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. We are also a Series C-funded startup with a strong team of 1000+ members, and as we continue to evolve into a world of new-financial solutions, we're looking for individuals with perspectives to join our team.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics, driving strategic insights, and working closely with leadership teams.
- Proven leadership skills, including experience in managing a team of analysts and collaborating cross-functionally.
- Strong stakeholder management, with the ability to work directly with senior leadership and present data-driven recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, AWS QuickSight or Tableau or Superset or Looker Studio for data analysis and visualization.
- Expertise in analytical problem-solving, hypothesis testing, and root cause analysis to drive business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of business metrics, financial modeling, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ability to define, design, and scale analytics frameworks to measure and improve business performance.
- Experience in mentoring and coaching junior analysts, setting best practices, and enhancing team productivity.
- Experience working with engineering and data teams to design scalable data infrastructure and analysis systems.
What You Will Work On:
1. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with senior leadership, business heads, and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize key business metrics.
- Act as the analytics thought leader, influencing business decisions through data-driven insights.
- Present findings and recommendations to C-level executives, VPs, and senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
2.Metric Reporting & Insights
- Enhance reporting mechanisms to improve accuracy, timeliness, and accessibility of business-critical metrics.
- Design and develop scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into key business drivers.
- Ensure dashboards and reports are intuitive, user-friendly, and aligned with business needs, reducing friction in adoption.
- Drive dashboard adoption across teams, ensuring stakeholders actively use analytics for decision-making.
- Lead deep-dive analyses to identify performance trends, metric anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Provide forward-looking insights and strategic recommendations to enhance business growth and efficiency.
3. Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Manage and mentor a team of business analysts, ensuring structured learning, development, and execution excellence.
- Establish and implement best practices in analytics methodologies, data storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.
- Drive a culture of proactive problem-solving, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the analytics team.
4. Data & Technology
- Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to improve data availability, quality, and scalability for analytics use cases.
- Optimize data pipelines, reporting tools, and visualization platforms to improve speed and accuracy in decision-making.
