Your future duties and responsibilities:

At CGI, our product owners work in cross-functional teams to balance client needs, market needs, and user experience. Our BA own the product backlog and roadmap and are accountable for ensuring that what we release to production lives up to our standards.
Leading the definition of the product vision, roadmap, and high-level product backlog for assigned areas of the product.
Defining the key users and use cases / user journeys and mapping in collaboration with our UX partners
Collaborating on UI designs with our UI designers
Maintaining a groomed backlog of requirements through the lifecycle (from client or market Requirement, to Epic, to Story)
Aligning the needs of clients by collaborating with client BAs and working directly with clients to understand needs, and grooming/prioritizing your backlog/roadmap accordingly
Please choose at minimum three key competencies required to do the job.
Collaborating with engineering teams (incl. BAs, Dev, QA) to ensure they can deliver your roadmap successfully.
Deep experience in AGILE development, SCRUM or SAFe and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)) is critical in this role
Participating as the business stakeholder in sizing, estimation, and sprint planning
Collaborating with the Product Director and Product Manager to support reviews by the Advisory Board, the CGI IPMF review process, and new proposals
5+ years of experience in project-based services or software delivery environments.
Industry experience and vision experience with financial planning / financial wellness solutions, key use cases, users / journeys, and market / industry needs
Product ownership knowing how to make a product successful in the market (from vision to execution)
Excellent communication skills the ability to summarize for executive consumption, to write client-facing communication, and to moderate discussions
Good stakeholder management skills knowing how to manage stakeholder expectations, communicate status and proactively follow-up, escalate issues for resolution, and enforce proper governance
Outcome-focused constantly reviewing priorities, drivers, objectives, to ensure you are addressing the need and not just completing the task

4 to 7 years experience in IT Business Analysis preferably in Wealth Management domain.
Functional Knowledge of
o portfolio management and administration
o Very good exposure to trade life cycle
Requirement gathering and requirement analysis skills
Experience in functional specification and or Use Case preparation
Excellent team player who can functionally mentor/guide /assist/motivate team members and produce best team result.
Should have very good communication skills/interpersonal skills

Nice to have
Experience in test plan and test case preparation and review
Experience in end to end functional testing
Good exposure to Estimation, Planning, Task assignment, Tracking and reporting
Experience of interacting with North America counterparts/clients
