Lead- Software Engineer in Test

What Will I Be Doing?

• Own and drive the development of a robust quality platform that enables seamless testing, monitoring, and reporting across the entire product lifecycle.
• Design, build, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and tools that scale across multiple environments, platforms, and devices.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment, reducing manual effort and accelerating delivery cycles.
• Develop custom tools, libraries, and dashboards to enhance testing workflows, improve visibility into quality metrics, and empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
• Mentor and guide SDETs, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, analyse system behavior, and work closely with developers to identify root causes and implement solutions

What Do I Need?

• 7+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years experience in technical heavy role focused on test automation and quality engineering
• Strong software development background with expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Proven experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks and tools for large-scale, distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Strong knowledge of API testing
• Experience with performance testing tools and strategies for load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for testing in dynamic environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex systems, analyse logs, and optimise performance
• Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of engineers in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive improvements in product quality and team efficiency.
