Job Title: L2 Network Engineer

About The Job

We are looking for a highly skilled Level 2 NOC Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of experience in network operations, troubleshooting, and incident management. The candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring, analysis, and resolution of network, server, and system issues while ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and managing escalation matrices for effective incident resolution. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Here’s What You’ll Do In This Role

• 4+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or a similar technical support role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
• Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills for LAN & WAN.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, etc.). Knowledge of ITIL framework (incident, problem, and change management).
• Experience in managing and implementing escalation matrices for incident handling.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Strong understanding and troubleshooting skills for Wireless Network technologies (Aruba / Meraki etc.)
• Experience with log analysis and troubleshooting system/network issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
  
  

Good To Have Skills

• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with automation & scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for troubleshooting and task automation.
• Familiarity with log analysis tools (Splunk, ELK stack, Graylog, etc).
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or equivalent.
• Experience with security incident management and SIEM solutions.
• Exposure to network performance optimization and capacity planning.
