L2 hardware and network engineer

Overview

Position: L2 IT Hardware & Networking Engineer
Experience Required: 5+ years (IT Hardware industry only)
Location: Mumbai
Working Days: 6 Days (Sunday Off)
Shift Timing: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
CTC: ₹3L – ₹5L PA (Negotiable based on experience/skills)

Key Responsibilities:

• Hardware & Software Support:
• Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, servers, printers, etc.
• Software installations/configurations (Windows/macOS)
• Network Management:
• LAN/WAN setup & maintenance
• VPNs, firewalls (Sophos, Fortinet), routers, switches
• Network security & compliance
• Server & AD Management:
• Handling Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies
• Server setup, patching, and maintenance
• System Admin & Virtualization:
• VMware/Hyper-V experience
• Backup solutions & disaster recovery
• End-User Support:
• L2 escalation handling
• Vendor coordination for repairs & procurement
• Firewall & Security:
• Configuring firewalls, access control
• Conducting security audits and monitoring

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• LAN: 4 years (Required)
• hardware trouble shooting: 4 years (Required)
• Firewall: 2 years (Required)
