Job Title: L2 Engineer (IT Support)
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced L2 Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a broad range of IT infrastructure components and technologies, including operating systems, networking, virtualization, security, cloud, and backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for Windows and Linux operating systems, ensuring smooth performance and resolving technical issues.
- Manage and support infrastructure components like firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi networks, printers, desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Maintain and troubleshoot virtualization environments using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, ensuring system uptime and optimal performance.
- Oversee security solutions such as EDR/XDR, patch management, and resolve security incidents in a timely manner.
- Manage backup and storage systems, including Acronis, Veeam, and SAN/NAS solutions (HP, Dell), ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Support cloud services (AWS, Azure) by configuring and troubleshooting cloud environments, ensuring efficient operation and cost optimization.
- Provide support for Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, and M365 administration, including user management, email configurations, and security settings.
- Handle complex technical issues and escalate unresolved problems to senior engineers, maintaining clear documentation throughout.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, printers, desktops, laptops, and servers.
- Proficient in virtualization technologies such as VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience with EDR/XDR, patch management, and security troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of backup and storage solutions (Acronis, Veeam, SAN/NAS).
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and M365 administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and customer service capabilities.
