JD:

Role: L2 SD-WAN Network Engineer

Location: Mumbai,India

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot SD-WAN connectivity, routing issues, and performance degradation.
• Manage vManage, vSmart, vBond, vEdge/cEdge and configure policies/templates as required.
• Perform L2 troubleshooting and escalate issues to L3/vendor teams when necessary.
• Configure and maintain BGP, OSPF, VRRP, IPSec VPNs, and QoS in an SD-WAN environment.
• Perform software upgrades, patch management, and health checks for SD-WAN controllers and edge devices.
• Work closely with NOC, security teams, and network architects to implement network changes.
• Analyze network logs, NetFlow, and packet captures for issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, network diagrams, and configuration changes.
• Provide technical support and training to L1 engineers as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-6 years of experience in network operations and SD-WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Fortinet SD-WAN, or similar solutions.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPSec VPNs, QoS, VRRP, and network security concepts.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) and SD-WAN integrations.
• Good troubleshooting skills using Wireshark, NetFlow, and Syslog analysis.
• Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIA, NSE4, or SD-WAN vendor-specific certifications are a plus.
