Overview
L1 Technical Support Engineer: Skills and Job Description
- Preferably - Male candidates
- Work Location: Mysore
Key Responsibilities: Hardware Support:
- Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Hardware installation and upgrades (RAM, HDD/SSD, etc.)
Operating Systems:
- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows (7, 10, 11) and macOS
- Knowledge of Linux (basic level is a plus)
Software Support:
- Installation and support of MS Office, browsers, antivirus, and business-specific apps
- Patch management and software updates
User Account Management:
- Active Directory: Password resets, user/group management
- Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration
Networking Basics:
- IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN setup
- Troubleshooting Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity
Remote Support Tools:
- TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, Any Desk, Zoom for IT support, etc.
Ticketing Systems:
- Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.
- Security Awareness:
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, user access control, and data protection
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
