Are you passionate about IT infrastructure and keen to build your career in system administration? We’re looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our team and play a key role in managing and maintaining our IT systems. We’d love to hear from you if you have a strong networking and system administration foundation and are eager to learn and grow!

Your Role

In this full-time role, you will manage and maintain our IT environment, ensure smooth operations across our systems, and support the team with technical expertise. You will work closely with our IT team to administer Active Directory, configure servers, manage network resources, and contribute to our IT infrastructure’s overall security and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Active Directory, including user accounts, computers, groups, and organisational units (OUs).
• Implementing and maintaining Group Policy to streamline system configurations and security settings.
• Handling networking fundamentals, including IP ranges, subnets, DNS, and DHCP.
• Managing virtualisation environments (VMware/Hyper-V), creating and configuring virtual machines, and integrating them into the domain.
• Administering Windows Server, including setting up and configuring domain controllers.
• Supporting Exchange Server operations with basic troubleshooting.
• Writing PowerShell scripts for automation (bonus if you have Bash/Python scripting skills).
• Assisting with SharePoint administration, including creating and managing on-premises websites.
• (Optional) Providing essential Linux administration support and managing antivirus tools.

What We’re Looking For

• Educational Background: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of system administration, networking, and virtualisation.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues efficiently.
• Eagerness to Learn: A proactive approach to acquiring new skills and keeping up with industry advancements.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues across departments.
