Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Software Developer to join our growing AI team. This role will focus on developing and optimizing AI-based systems, primarily leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Vertex AI and integrating them with MongoDB databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development, a passion for AI, and hands-on experience with LLMs and cloud-based platforms.

Job Responsibilities :

LLM Development and Optimization:

· Assist in the development, fine-tuning, and deployment of LLMs using GCP Vertex AI.

· Experiment with different LLM architectures, prompts, and parameters to optimize performance.

· Evaluate and improve LLM performance metrics, such as accuracy, latency, and resource utilization.

GCP Vertex AI Integration:

· Develop and maintain applications that integrate with GCP Vertex AI services.

· Utilize GCP services for data storage, processing, and model deployment.

· Implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions.

MongoDB Database Integration:

· Design and implement data models and schemas in MongoDB to support LLM applications.

· Develop efficient queries and data access patterns for retrieving and storing data.

· Ensure data integrity and security.

Software Development:

· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or other relevant languages.

· Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.

· Develop and maintain APIs and microservices.

Collaboration and Communication:

· Collaborate with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and other developers.

· Communicate technical concepts and progress effectively.

· Participate in agile development processes.

Learning and Development:

· Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and cloud technologies.

· Continuously learn and improve your skills.

· Troubleshoot and debug issues related to LLM integration, GCP services, and MongoDB.

Key Skills:

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

· 1-2 years of experience in software development.

· Hands-on experience with LLMs and AI concepts (e.g., fine-tuning, prompt engineering).

· Experience with GCP Vertex AI or other cloud-based AI platforms is highly desirable.

· Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in Python or other relevant programming languages.

· Familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers).

· Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.

· Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and GCP services.

· Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.

· Passion for AI and machine learning.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

· Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) techniques.

· Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
