Junior QA Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Engineer with 6months to 2 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of automation testing concepts. Knowledge of Selenium and Python is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Gain exposure to automation testing using Selenium and Python.
• Assist in the development of automated test scripts for regression testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and QA best practices.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in manual testing.
• Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks and tools.
• Knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Python for automation.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
