Junior QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with expertise in manual testing, focusing on the e-commerce domain and front-end website development. This role requires a strong understanding of UI/UX principles to ensure an exceptional user experience across our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality, user-friendly web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough manual testing with a focus on the front-end and user interface of e-commerce websites.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure design and functional requirements meet high standards.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios for website functionality, usability, and responsiveness.
• Document and track defects, ensuring clear communication with developers for issue resolution.
• Evaluate and validate UI/UX elements for consistency, accessibility, and alignment with e-commerce best practices.
• Continuously review testing processes and suggest improvements to enhance product quality and user satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on front-end and UI/UX testing in the e-commerce domain.
• Proficiency in creating detailed, structured test cases for websites.
• Strong knowledge of website testing practices, including cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows and user journeys.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or other front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD for UI review.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
