
Overview
The Junior QA Analyst plays a vital role in software development by ensuring that applications meet quality standards and perform as expected. Their main responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, identifying and documenting defects, collaborating with team members, conducting manual and automated testing, providing feedback on usability and functionality and maintaining testing documentation.
Requirements:
- University degree level knowledge in Chemistry is a must.
- Experience of QA activity in Computer Aided Drug Design field is an advantage.
- Working knowledge in Python programming is desirable.
- ISTQB/ISEB or similar certification is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is desirable.
- Not afraid to ask questions or learn new things.
- A mindset of not leaving something alone until convinced.
- Able to accept and learn from mistakes.
- Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills (verbal & written).
- Stay focused and motivated if needed to work in isolation.
- Must be confident to become an integral part of a multi-cultural and geographically diverse test team located on different time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to requirement analysis, extracting test scenarios and creating well-structured test cases.
- Willingly participate in the entire Software Test Life Cycle for multiple products
- Execute tests, document defects and necessary enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency and value of testing.
- Contribute in planning and reporting of QA team’s work.
- Enhance own and QA team’s knowledge base.
