Junior PHP Developer

Overview

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic PHP Web Developer to join our team. As a PHP Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality PHP-based web applications
• Collaborate with a team of designers, developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable code
• Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug existing web applications, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to project requirements
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements and optimizations for existing applications
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (freshers are encouraged to apply)
• Strong understanding of PHP programming language and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of MVC frameworks, preferably Laravel or CodeIgniter
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus):

• Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or ReactJS
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Interview Process:

• The interview process will consist of multiple rounds conducted in-person at our office location. This includes technical assessments, discussions about your experience and skills, and an opportunity for you to learn more about our company and team.

Note: This is a full-time position, and the work will be conducted from our office premises. Remote work options are not available for this role.
