Overview
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and development teams to gather and document business requirements.
- Analyze and translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Documentation:
- Create detailed business documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle to ensure clarity and traceability.
- Wireframing and Prototyping:
- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visually represent user interfaces and system functionality.
- Use tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, or Sketch to create wireframes that communicate design ideas effectively.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project status, gather feedback, and resolve issues.
- Coordination and Project Management:
- Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in project planning, task scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Logical and Analytical Thinking:
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex business problems and propose effective solutions.
- Conduct feasibility analysis, risk assessment, and cost-benefit analysis for proposed solutions.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training to end-users on new systems and functionalities.
- Offer ongoing support and maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently till delivery.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices within the business analysis domain.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in technology.
Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the software development or IT sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies.
- Experience with wireframing tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Axure, or Sketch.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
- Basic understanding of software development processes and technologies.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships and work collaboratively with team members.
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Skills:
- Sharp analytical and logical thinking capabilities to solve complex business problems.
- Attention to detail in documenting requirements and processes.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
