Position Title: Junior Business Analyst

Location: Chennai

Experience: 0–2 years

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Assist in creating user stories, use cases, and process workflows.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.

Product Development Support:

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented effectively.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain clear and continuous communication with internal teams and external clients to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Provide updates and documentation on project status.

Testing and Validation:

• Assist in functional and user acceptance testing to validate that the solutions meet business needs.
• Identify, document, and report issues or bugs during the testing phase.

Process Improvement:

• Propose process improvements based on data analysis and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–2 years in a business analysis role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with SaaS business models and B2B workflows.
• Experience working with APIs or technical documentation.
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles.
