Job Title: Jr. QA Analyst

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and results-driven software tester to join our team! The ideal candidate is talented individual who has a keen eye for detail and working knowledge of software and test design. S/he has the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyse the results reporting observations, bugs, and glitches proactively. S/he should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. In this role s/he will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyse system specifications
• Analysing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute functional test cases (manual or automated), localization testing and analyse results
• Executing all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Verify compliance with design and user experience standards.
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Document the quality best practices and processes in confluence and update according to the QA standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 months – 1.5 years of experience in Software Testing
• Extensive knowledge of Software testing concepts
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Proficiency in using Project/Defect Management tools like Jira and Confluence
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, basics of Web and comfortable using Dev tools.
• Fundamentals of Database and SQL.
• Strong Knowledge in cross browser testing.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity in Performance and Security testing.
• Knowledge on Selenium/Playwright Automation is a plus
• Basic understanding on Git, CI/CD is a plus
• ISTQB or any Testing related certification is a good add-on
• Exposure to localization testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Should be familiar and up-to-date with industry best practices
