Jr. PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based web applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Build and optimize database queries to ensure efficient back-end processes.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in PHP and its frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony).
• Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services/APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Knowledge of web security practices and performance optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Docker or containerization tools.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
