Jr. PHP Developer

Overview

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and motivated PHP Developer to join our product development team. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of experience in PHP development with expertise in the CodeIgniter/Laravel/YII framework or hands-on experience with Vtiger CRM, Sugar CRM, or Suite CRM. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and relevant frameworks.
• Customize and enhance features in CRMs such as Vtiger, Sugar, or Suite CRM.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during development.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Ensure application security best practices are followed.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Proficiency in the Vtiger, Sugar, or SuiteCRM will be a plus.
• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in product-based software development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS or Linux servers).
• Exposure to other PHP frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience with PHP and CRM platforms (1-2 years).
