Overview
Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Junior IT Manager with strong experience in OPERA Property Management System (PMS). As a Junior IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the IT operations, system integration, and providing technical support related to OPERA PMS within our organization. You will work closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient IT processes, troubleshooting, and implementation of technological solutions in the hotel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- OPERA PMS Support: Oversee the installation, configuration, and ongoing support of OPERA PMS, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
- System Maintenance: Regularly monitor the performance of OPERA PMS, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Provide technical support to hotel staff, addressing system errors, software malfunctions, and hardware-related issues, especially related to OPERA PMS.
- Software Updates & Patches: Manage and perform software updates, patches, and new feature rollouts for OPERA PMS, ensuring the system is up-to-date and optimized.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for hotel staff on how to use OPERA PMS effectively, ensuring all users are knowledgeable and proficient.
- Collaboration with Departments: Work with various departments to understand their IT needs and assist in implementing solutions within OPERA PMS, improving operational efficiency.
- Network & Hardware Support: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting the hotel's network and hardware infrastructure supporting OPERA PMS.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Ensure the accurate documentation of all IT-related activities.
- System Integration: Assist in the integration of OPERA PMS with other hotel management systems and third-party software solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in IT support and managing OPERA PMS systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in OPERA PMS and its functionalities.
- Knowledge of hotel management software and IT systems.
- Basic understanding of networking, hardware troubleshooting, and system administration.
- Experience in managing hotel IT systems and infrastructure.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform tasks with precision and a focus on detail.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other hospitality management systems.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and workflows.
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.) would be a plus.
- Familiarity with databases, cloud technologies, and IT security best practices.

- Flexibility to work outside standard office hours when required
