We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will be:

• Be a part of the multiskill POD which is responsible for feature as well as technical delivery
• Develop and maintain Core Java applications
• Working on code development for new requirements and on fixing existing bugs/defects according to agreed standards and best practices
• To contribute to requirements gathering and delivery planning in order to meet our business partners’ needs in both quality and on-time delivery aspect
• Carrying out the detailed technical analysis of projects, changes and implementations to production.
• Corporate with IT and Finance Operations in daily activities and take charge in the post-implementation production support.
• Work on multiple activities like design, development and testing.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of IT development experience using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework
• hands on experience in core java, java8/11/17, Spring Framework, ORM
• Should have a good exposure to Web container/server like WAS, Liberty etc.
• Good knowledge of front end technology like Angular JS
• Working knowledge of APIs and knowledge of microservices architecture
• Should be aware of configuration of spring boot, exception handling, spring profile, spring batch
• Should be aware of different logging mechanism.
• Responsible for creating functional/technical design solutions and ensuring those requirements are documented.
• Self-motivated, focused and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential.
• Good to have Skills – Unix, Control M, datastage
• A basic understanding of finance knowledge such as Accounting is preferred.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
