Overview
Looking for a Java API Full Stack Developer who is an expert in building Restful APIs using spring boot Framework, the role will provide an opportunity to build best in class Restful Microservices to be consumed by Mobile applications.
The successful candidate expected to have sound knowledge on Object Oriented Design, Data structures, Restful and hands on working experience with spring boot.
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
The successful candidate expected to have sound knowledge on Object Oriented Design, Data structures, Restful and hands on working experience with spring boot.
Technical / Functional Proficiency:
- Around 7-9 years of Java and UI Full stack Development and hands on experience preferable in Financial Service industry
- Strong Object-Oriented Design fundamentals
- Strong understanding of Springboot framework
- Strong understanding of Core Java, Data Structures, Collections and JUnit
- Strong understanding of RESTFul & SOAP APIs
- Working Experience with XSLT and Pojo
- Working experience with Swagger
- Experience with build tools Gradle, Maven etc.
- Basic understanding of Openshift/Kubernetes/Docker
- Basic understanding with JavaScript, Angular, React, HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS.
- Experience in Unit Testing Front End functionality and analyzing unit tests for code issues.
- Knowledge of new technologies (Angular, ES2015, Karma, Protractor, Web Pack, etc.)
- Good to have Protobuf experience
- Knowledge on Single Page Applications
- Experience using Bitbucket, JIRA and Confluence
- Oracle 10+ DB SQL programming experience
- Experience in DevOps, CICD Deliveries
- Experience in Banking and Financial Domain
- Experience in Agile frameworks/ Scrum based model
- Good Analytical skills
- Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
- Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
- Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
- Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
- Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
