We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineer.

Work Location: Pune

In this role, you will:

• The position will focus on developing and implementing in the areas of integration, configurability, manageability, reliability, and performance.
  
• The implementation will mostly in Java, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Spring Boot with Oracle as Database.
  
• Communicate and resolve interdependencies between different application.
  
• Develop technical designs for application development.
  
• Write well designed, testable code, conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
  
• Manage Java and Java EE application development. Prepare and produce releases of software components.
  

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Hands on experience on Java, Springboot, API programming, Oracle, SQL. Knowledge of XML, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width) and SQL.
• Make use of appropriate testing tools and services where appropriate. Knowledge of cloud-based technologies like Docker, Kubernetes would be good to have.
• Hands on experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Git, Ansible, Jenkins and Maven.
• Good knowledge and working experience in agile / scrum methodologies. Good analysis, out of the box thinking and trouble-shooting skills. Knowledge in logging and monitoring tools.
• Good Understanding in Service Management, Change Management & Incident management. Knowledge on technologies like Kafka, Hazelcast would be beneficial.
• Works effectively with the Technology Teams to define and identifying the quick solutions for project tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently, effectively, pro-actively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative. Should be flexible for working across multiple time zones.

The successful candidate will also meet the following requirements:

• Prior experience with products specifically Payments will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation of complex information and data).
• Prior experience in working with Agile projects.
• A strong commitment to quality and efficiency
