Job Posting: Java Developer (Onsite – 5 Days a Week, 6-Month Contract with Extension Opportunity)

We are hiring Onsite Java Developers for a 6-month contractual role, with the possibility of extension based on performance. This position requires candidates to work in person, 5 days a week from our office. If you have expertise in Java 17, Microservices, Kafka/Solace, and PostgreSQL/AlloyDB, and are eager to work on scalable cloud-based applications, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java 17 microservices-based applications.

• Design, implement, and optimize event-driven architectures using Kafka or Solace.

• Work with PostgreSQL or AlloyDB for efficient data management.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (preferred).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Implement best practices for performance, security, and scalability.

• Work onsite, in person, at our office Monday to Friday.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in backend Java development with Java 17.

• Strong experience in Microservices architecture.

• Hands-on experience with message queueing systems such as Kafka or Solace.

• Proficiency in working with PostgreSQL or AlloyDB.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Exposure to distributed systems and cloud-native development.
