Java Developer (DevOps)

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/JEE-based applications.
• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Work with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).
• Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
• Implement unit testing and participate in code reviews.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications in development and production environments.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, JEE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with Java application servers like Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
• Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to DevOps practices: CI/CD using Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Basic scripting skills in Shell/Python/Groovy.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
