We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will

• Working closely with the demand side of the project and business change to create a supply backlog for the respective POD and effectively planning this within Sprints to ensure aligns with wider project plan.
• Demonstrable experience of liaising with both downstream and upstream IT systems and ensuring end-to-end clarity of requirements across multiple teams.
• Has the capability to identify any risk associated within a project delivery and calling them out at the right time along with the mitigation plan if any.
• Provide support to team in their end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities.
• Working closely with the POD teams and ensuring the POD team adheres to the KPIs in the form of Production - release, stability, and toil.
• Required to work closely with colleagues in the function, onshore teams and stakeholders.
• Required to communicate effectively with people at various levels of seniority and different backgrounds in a challenging but collegiate environment.
• Actively engage with other team members for development projects and contribute to team discussions on development issue

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Expert in Java development with Clear understanding of Microservices.
• Automated testing experience for Java microservices.
• Exposure to Oracle PL/SQL and an understanding of relational databases
• Strong experience in SQL query writing.
• A clear understanding of GIT, and different approaches to a CICD pipeline.
• UNIX experience including script generation.
• Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills.
• Good communication stills, and experience of interacting directly with business teams.
• Worked in a Banking environment or has some understanding of the banking business
