Job Title: Java Developer (Apache and Java Migration)

Location: Remote (India)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in Apache frameworks and Java application migration. The role involves modernizing applications, improving performance, and ensuring smooth transitions to updated platforms. Candidates must be willing to work in the PST time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java applications with Apache frameworks.
• Lead and execute Java application migration projects.
• Analyze and optimize legacy systems for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Debug, test, and document all development and migration processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java (Java 8+ years of exp. preferred).
• Experience with Apache frameworks like Kafka.
• Hands-on experience in Java application migrations.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Familiarity with SQL databases and version control (Git).
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Additional Requirement:

• Must be available to work in the PST time zone.
