Overview
Senior Java Engineer - Pune (Onsite)
Experience - 8-10 Years
Prefer who can join immediately.
Responsibilities:
Java Upgrade & Migration:
- Assess current Java applications and dependencies.
- Plan and execute the migration to the latest Java version (e.g., from Java 8 to Java 17).
- Identify and resolve deprecated APIs, security vulnerabilities, and compatibility issues.
- Optimize code and application performance post-migration.
Application Modernization:
- Refactor and rewrite legacy Java code to align with best practices.
- Implement new Java features, such as records, sealed classes, and virtual threads.
- Upgrade related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and libraries as needed.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure rigorous testing using JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and other frameworks.
- Conduct regression testing and performance benchmarking.
Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹1,300,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
