Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is passionate about solving complex problems, thinks outside the box, and brings discipline and precision to their work. This role is essential to driving our mission forward, focusing on the backend development of our modernization products using Java and Spring frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Help improve generated Java code from legacy apps.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to innovate on and enhance our mainframe modernization solutions.
• Implement, test, and deploy high-quality code that aligns with best practices in design, development, and testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing solutions to improve efficiency and maintainability.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in Java development, with a focus on scalability and performance.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in Java development with a deep understanding of Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Demonstrated discipline in adhering to coding standards, testing practices, and documentation.
• Experience with mainframe technologies (COBOL, JCL, CICS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and migration strategies is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹519,760.29 - ₹1,852,453.37 per year
