Java Developer

Overview

A Java Developer with experience is expected to contribute to various stages of the software development life cycle, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Java programming, with experience in frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Maven.
• Database Knowledge: Proficiency in working with relational databases like Oracle or MySQL, including writing complex SQL queries.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git to manage codebase changes effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain Experience: Prior experience in the banking or fintech industry, understanding the unique challenges and regulatory requirements.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile development environments, facilitating iterative and collaborative development processes.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP, as many financial institutions are migrating to cloud-based solutions.
