Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance microservices using Java 8/17 and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet them.
- Develop APIs and microservices following best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application stack.
- Optimize application performance and implement solutions to scale applications efficiently.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring high code quality.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and follow Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery.
- Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application stability.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD implementation and ensure smooth deployment of applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a deep understanding of Java 8/17.
- Strong experience in building Microservices architectures.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot framework for building scalable and secure applications.
- Solid experience with RESTful APIs and JSON.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in implementing Spring Cloud and API Gateway.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and software development best practices.
