IT Technician

Overview

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support and maintain the organization's hardware, software, and network systems. The IT Technician will play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, ensuring that all technology infrastructure operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support for internal users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and other IT equipment.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.).
• Assist with the setup and configuration of new devices, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues and ensure smooth communication between devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory or other systems.
• Backup and restore data and perform routine system maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to implement projects and improve the organization’s IT infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and solutions.
• Provide training and support to users on new software, systems, or technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is a plus).
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role in a technical support capacity.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and software applications.
• Experience with networking protocols, hardware, and troubleshooting tools.
• Familiarity with managing servers, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls), and VPNs.
• Experience with Active Directory, user account management, and network administration.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹12,086.00 - ₹20,335.12 per month
